LUTEHOLES - Hand finished SOLID WOOD carvings that fit into your guitars soundhole in seconds with no modification to your guitar, you won't even have to loosen the strings. LuteHoles look similar to the decorative carvings of early stringed instruments and make any guitar more beautiful while helping to control feedback and protect the edge of the sound hole from pick damage. LuteHoles are held in the soundhole by a resilient gasket. Since LuteHoles don't completely cover the soundhole they don't suppress the instruments natural voicing and air flow as much as other devices.

We also offer any of our designs completely covered on the underside for those who want maximum feedback protection.

The above costs are for standard 4 inch soundholes. Most other sizes will cost an additional $16.
The addition of any rosette border will cost an additional $10. The addition of backing material to close the soundhole completely but retain the design will cost an additional $10.

SIZE
The vast majority of steel-string guitar soundholes are 4" in diameter (101.6mm). Most nylon-string (classical guitars) have 3 1/2" soundholes. To determine your soundhole size just measure the distance across the center of your soundhole. LuteHoles for the soundholes sizes listed below are $16 extra. Any other size is considered a custom order.

CUSTOM SHAPES AND DESIGNS
We make oval soundhole covers ($75 in maple or walnut) and custom designs. We also modify the shape to allow for pickup volume and tone controls, like those used in LR Baggs pickup systems. In fact, we make soundhole covers for any shape or size. Just email sales@lutehole.com a tracing and supply the basic measurements (north-south and east-west).

The LuteHole Spinner.
This LuteHole has a center design that spins and opens and closes the soundhole to varying degrees, so you can dial in the amount of feedback protection that you need for any given situation. Holy Strap

HOLEY STRAP!
Our beautiful leather strap is cut from thick high-quality bridle leather. This is no thin veneer of leather sewn to a piece of fabric. These straps have a naturally comfortable slight spring because of the intricate design. It will be the last strap you ever need to buy (unless you have more than one guitar). The Holey Strap is 2 1/2" wide and the length is adjustable from 37" to 50". We also have an extra long version that adjusts from 43" to 61". Either size costs just $79.
